This iconic 1984 Thierry Mugler ‘Winter of the Angels’ metallic gold lamé and stretch velvet jersey gown is the ultimate Lovedrug🤤 Dating back to his epic fall/winter 10th anniversary collection, the show was a spectacle with over 6,000 public viewers🎉 This historical performance combined fashion with theatre and music as never before🎶 ‘The Angels’, as Mugler referred to his models, floated down the runway with their halos and gold wings😇 The metallic gold lamé is pleated like shells on the bodice and drapes over the velvet jersey in a fashion that hints at the notion of skin while keeping the body concealed🔥 Garments from this show are next to impossible to find💯 We were thrilled to see that the Metropolitan Museum of Art has this gown in their collection as well💛 If you’re looking for something truly unforgettable and historically significant to add to your archive, this is a piece that not only elevates your wardrobe but also connects you to a pivotal moment in fashion history🙌 In store and online now at Timeless Vixen👯‍♀️✨ • • #timelessvixen #thierrymugler #1980sfashion #vintagefashion #vintagemugler #vintagecouture #80sfashion #thierrymuglervintage #fashionhistory | Timeless Vixen - Vintage Couture
