In 2022, Julia and Scott were harvesting a tiny crop of Gruner Veltliner from their estate vineyard under several inches of snow. Which is the long way of saying this wine is fantastic: a strong peppery baseline, chamomile and wildflower, green apple and lemon, far more presence and weight than most. Drink with a meal of almost every sort.
