A pale silver crescent curves through the middle of the panel, its inner face covered in fine engraved scrollwork, and an eight pointed gold star sits in the hollow of it. A ring of filigree circles the moon, and copper flowers six petalled, slightly rusted are set at the top, the sides and the base. The ground is a weathered blue grey with gold showing through where the paint has worn away. Small stars are pressed into the
